How do I get a free listing on this website and in the nationally distributed Truck Stop Directory?

Simply agree to have a Trucking Information Center display placed in your location. The directory is distributed nationally in all our truck stop locations and at three major truck shows each year. The directory is reprinted quarterly. As long as the TIC is in your facility, you will receive this free national advertising.

When you agree to have a Trucking Information Center installed in your location and it has been approved, we will include your truck stop name and location on this website and include your truck stop information in our Truck Stop Directory.

Trucking Information Centers Literature Display Rack

What is a TRUCKING INFORMATION CENTER?

Trucking Information Centers, or TICs, are revolving wire literature displays with free take-one brochures for your trucker customers. TICs have been a part of the trucking industry since 1978. The brochures included in the TICs provide information on products, services, and employment. There are brochures from the Federal Highway Administration regarding rules and regulations, brochures from large and small trucking companies seeking drivers and owner-operators, and brochures from manufacturing and service companies about trucks, engines, seats, insurance and other products and services that truckers need.

How can having a TIC literature display in your travel center benefit you?

TICs mean more trucker visits. You provide showers, lounges, TVs, phones, and other amenities to make your trucker customers’ waiting time easier and to bring them back to your location. TICs are an extra service that is a part of your customer’s satisfactory visit to your truck stop location. And, this extra service costs you nothing.

TICs give you free national advertising. We advertise our Trucking Information Centers to truckers nationwide so that they will know, recognize, and seek out our truck stops.

TICs are absolutely FREE to our host truckstops. You provide the space. We do the work. We come each month and service the TIC and keep it looking good. You don't have to store any boxes or brochures. We do not ask or require anything of your employees. There is no UPS shipment to receive, items to set up, or papers to sign.

TICs are part of a total package to help your customers enjoy their visit in your facility. Your customers are happier and it doesn't cost you a penny.

Is the free advertising a good value?

To get this broad type of advertising, truck stops usually have to be part of a national chain, the member of an association or group which charges an annual fee, or pay for the advertising outright. This is free to you and to your trucker customer when you are a TIC host location.

Can I be listed in the directory and on the Internet without having a TIC installed?

Yes, you can. However, there is a fee to do so.

What are the requirements to have a TIC in my truck stop?
